About the Royal Medical Benevolent Fund

The RMBF relies on voluntary donations. The money they raise goes to support doctors, medical students and their families who are in crisis – this is a time of crisis. Without the help of generous donors they can not continue to provide vital support to the medical profession.

Thanks

You’re making a difference.

Thousands of doctors, and their NHS colleagues, are bravely standing between the virus and the most vulnerable in our society.

The stories that doctors are sharing, make for difficult reading. That’s why we are asking for your help now.

The majority of the Royal Medical Benevolent Funds’ trustees, board and volunteers come from a medical background. This means that as an organisation they truly understand the unique pressures facing doctors on a day to day basis.

The RMBF provides support for doctors and their families through all stages of their career and beyond. Their help ranges from financial assistance in the form of grants and loans to a telephone befriending scheme; for those who may be isolated and in need of support.

Help them be there for doctors today, tomorrow, and however long they need them. The fantastic UK public have been generous before, and we hope you will help again now. With the impact of Covid-19, the RMBF will see a surge in demand on services.

Please, if you are able to, buy and share this record, or give a donation directly today.

There has never been a more important time.
